Thought I would post a photograph of a nice glass bar mirror I just finished. The lettering texture was created by stippling 1 hr size into the open windows and first gilding with skewings of Paladium leaf. Then another layier of paladium and silver leaf backed up by silver one shot. I watergilded the border with 12ct white gold to give it a softer look then mirroring.

Re: Custom Glass Signs
Nice work. I'd like to see a close up of the textured lettering.
Is that copper leaf for the border? it works nicely with the dark blue.

Re: Custom Glass Signs
Here you go. The main copy is oil gilded using crushed up and scumbled Paladium, Silver and very antiqued silver leaf. The border is copper leaf and the outside mirroring is 12ct white gold.
I really like the way you do your heavy antiqued mirrors with water gilding. Maybe I'll have to come back over to your neck of the world so you can show me how you do it.
