I found this to be the single most helpful chart so far in my lettering journey.

Man'o'man. That page was a huge inspiration to me also although that would have been a little over 40 years ago.

I still have my 1948/15th Edition with those pages being 58 and 59 and with the Spurred brush stroke gothic (page 57), that is what I practiced the most.
