Cleveland Signs
First topic I've made here. Figured I'd post some signs around Cleveland where I live. There's a lot of ghost signs here. I haven't flicked them all, and I see new ones all the time. Will dump another batch when I have more to add. Hope ya dig!

Re: Cleveland Signs
Alan, thanks for posting these photos. (You'll note that the images will post in the orientation you stored them on your computer)
My favorite image is the Air Conditioned bowling alley sign. The person that painted it was very good with a brush. You can tell it was just an everyday sign for him, but his brush strokes were beautifully applied.

Re: Cleveland Signs
I'll flip photos around next time I make a post. Sorry for bothering anyones neck
Mike, that is a good one indeed. It's too bad I didn't actually have a full shot of it, but I had a couple close up detailed shots because the lettering is so on point. The same person did the other bowling sign up there. The bowling alley actually came to me about replicating an old sign they found in the basement, on their exterior wall "as big as possible" they said. Told them I would get back to them after the winter months, so I guess I'll do that now!

Re: Cleveland Signs
I'm a real sucker for the "Packard" wall and the glass piece at the bank (probably all done by hand) but makes me wish I'd taken photos all those years ago of the great work I saw everywhere. I saw an amazing half in and half out wall at a youth hostel in Los Angeles some 15 or so years ago.Was an old ad for a garage station....I'd be surprised if I don't have a reasonable photo or 2 here and will do some snooping
