Has any one tried chipping glass with a heating pad? I set a thermometer on one last night to see how hot it would get on HIGH and it was reading 105. I might give it a try after I get back form Fred’s.

Joe,
I am sure that would work, but you'd need to make sure you let the glue completely dry before putting your glass near it or over it. You'd get glass shards in it unless you covered it with something to prevent that from happening. Lastly, it might be a reasonable solution for a small piece of glass that will fit on it, but if you were doing a 2'x3' piece of glass, you'd need more than one heating pad.
