Harry Oresko is battling ALS

Post by Tom McIltrot »

Harry Oresko, a frequent contributor to both this forum and SignCraft magazine, is battling ALS (Lou Gerhig’s disease). He has closed his shop and is doing a little work from home, but this debilitating disease has greatly limited what he can do physically.

A first-rate sign maker, guitar player and avid fisherman, Harry has always been quick to share techniques and short cuts that he felt would help sign makers. I talked with Harry a few days ago, and he asked that I ask folks on the Hand Lettering Forum to keep him in their prayers. You can drop him an e-mail via his wife, Debbie, at debbie@goldcoasttours.com, or through the mail at 5700 Carbon Canyon Road #114, Brea, CA, 92823.

Thanks Tom for bringing the news, even though it hurts to hear of a brother of the brush that's ailing.
