It's March 10th

I just looked at the screen to realise this is the anniversary of the passing of our friend, and mentor to so many (including me) Rick Glawson aka Glawson and Evans aka Daddy Fine Gold...or simply, "The Boss". It's impossible for me to see this date on the calender and not think of the events those short years ago. So I'm just thinking about him and everyone else that felt his influence.

Ditto-

I can still remember exactly where I was when I received the very hard to believe news of Rick's death. Still, miss Daddy Fine Gold and his great sense of humor. R.I.P.

I too can remember standing in my living room beyond stunned when I found out. It had barely been a month previously that I was at the Conclave.

Thank you to all of you for keeping the spirit alive.

It's a marker of time that says cherish every moment, and be true like Rick, and enjoy a couple hot peppers for a very special man.

I don't think a day goes by without a thought of Rick. I have his picture at my shop and in my studio so he can keep an eye on me. ...the emotions of it all are still right there, perhaps just not as strong or long lasting as yesterday. He will never be forgotten by anyone that dealt with him.

"...he was what we knew we ought to be, and were not. And now he is gone and we are left."

I miss you Rick. -Larry
