Confused?

I'm confused. I thought the Sign Museum was going to locate in Las Vegas, then the last newsletter announced that it was locating in Cincinnati. What am I missing?
Are there two? Did I dream it? Help.

I heard that the mayor/city of LV liked Tod's museum presentation so much that they decided to steal the idea (and shaft Tod) and build their own dang sign museum.

Due to budget considerations, the tentative site in Vegas would have been cost prohibitive to maintain without major contributions. With the big donation from Jim at Gemini Letters, a site in Cincinnati is much more practical especially since the Swormstedts have contributed so much already. I don't know the status of the property in Vegas but my hope is that the donor will still consider the museum worthwhile. Sustaining memberships though will have to be established in order to keep the museum afloat. Did you get a request letter from Wyane Heath for donation? Consider sending even a few dollars to help the effort. I am not soliciting, I just think it is a worthy endeavor and deseves financial support. If you have other questions e-mail Tod

Hi Carol,
I can't say I know the answer. I always thought the plan was to create it in Cincinatti, but Vegas does make some sense. I looked on their site, linked below, but didn't see the information immediately. I clicked on their "TALK" buttons to try the Bulletin Boards, but the links didn't work today.

You could always drop Tod Swormstedt a quick note. I am sure he would reply directly to you and maybe here if he knew the question was unresolved. I'd be curious, too.

Thanks,
Mike Jackson
