Hi again,
This probably doesn't exactly fit the Handlettering structure of this BB, but it might be of interest to a few people. I posted a note about Digital Watercolors a couple of weeks ago and Sarah Schwartz told me about a Photoshop add-on called BuZZ Pro2.0. I checked into it and the version she bought for about $35 is no longer available (intact), but their new 2.0 version can be purchased directly from the source in England. Wow! It is a great program. I have been playing with it on about 20 different photographs and all I can say is it makes Photoshop even more fun and powerful.

This photo is from a digital shot I took on Monday morning, right after the snow, and during peak week on some of the valley floor foliage. The texture was added with a standard Photoshop filter, but the rest is from buZZ filtering.

If you didn't do it before, go check out Sarah's pages of digital watercolors. They are GREAT!

Intersting imaging capability. I think I would enjoy having a brush in my hand instead though.

Mucho thanks for the compliment Mike. Here is a little free program of filters that can be fun too. Do a Google search for Fantastic Paint Engine and you should find it. The smart blur filter in photoshop combined with other filters can give an effect much like the Buzz watercolor too.

Oops! It was Sarah Clark and not Sarah Schwartz who directed me to the buZZ.Pro2.0 filters.
