Cool Post Cards from the Post Office

(Sorry. Could not post image. Broken link?)

Hey!
Back in April, the US Post Office introduced a series of 50 state stamps. The Wyoming stamp was only available for a short period of time and when I tried to get some, they were out. I guess the state stamps were sold in each appropriate state.

Anyway, I asked for the poster at the Post Office because all the little state graphics were pretty cool, in the vein of those old luggage posters from the 50's. Lots of bright colors and quite a few color schemes. The poster is still up at the post office, even though the promotion is over, and maybe I will get it someday since the clerk wrote my name and number on the back. Today, however, I was standing in a long line and ended up stopped right in front of a display which held the limited edition 50 Postcard package. They are roughly 5" x 7", all in bright full color and look great! Best of all, the entire package is only $9.95 and no sales tax. That's only 20¢ each. Now we can see why the Post Office is always losing money, but at least I can tell you these are the bargain of the month if you can get your hands on a set.

If you want, you can visit the site to see what I am talking about. They also sell a variety of other gadgets including magnets, bags, cups, and t-shirts.

I was in Indiana last May, and bought one of the magnets for my mom as a souvenir thing. Pretty neat!

They really are very cool!
I'd love the postcards.
Thanks for the link.
