What kind of paint do you use on reverse glass work? Can I use 1shot?
Would I need something different if I use gold leaf?
Joe

Joe,
People have been lettering windows in on both sides of the glass with "lettering enamels" for years: One Shot, Chromatic, Ronan, and so forth. It works fine for that purpose. If you are asking about doing reverse glass, enamels are often used after the gold work is done, but the back up paints is not normally done with regular lettering enamels. They aren't tough enough, nor dry fast enough for the job. There are a lot of posts on this forum about backing up gold leaf, along with several nice references to the subject in the Rick Glawson section. Hope that helps!
