Summer Photos Links Page Plus Harvest Moon

Post by Mike Jackson »

http://www.goldenstudios.com/family/summer05photos.htm

Earlier, I posted a few photos of area subjects taken with the Nikon D70 camera. I haven't posted any lately, mainly because of a couple of comments about this site being about signmaking. A few people have also written asking to see a few more photos....so I created a new page of links to recent photos. Some have a few artistic effects added.
You can view the pages by clicking on the individual thumbnails, the small arrow icons, the right or left arrows on your keyboard, or even the little slide show icon at the bottom of each page.

I see a few that need adjusting. (I sent out a pile by email just for the family, and these pages were made from the collected email images. They were shot in camera RAW and never got the tweaking they needed.) I'll try to fix those when I have a few minutes next week.

For anyone not caring to see the photos, please disregard this post!

Hi again,
I have been busy shooting the wildlife and foliage this last week, getting up before sunrise most days. I can work later...right?

Normally, bears are hard to find and photograph around here, but a big crop of black hawthorne berries has several groups of bears gathering in one area not far from here. Click the link above to view a nice slide show of the recent photos.

I should have a few new images on the Moose page by the time everyone reads this post.

Just for reference, my Nikon hit the 9999 mark the other day and reset to 0001 when I took number 10,000. I am already up to 3000 again!

Great Stuff. Thanks for sharing.
A couple of weeks back I saw a Moose in our sunflower field - a beautiful shot, the colors were incredible, just his shoulders and head above the sunflowers which are about six feet tall, but no camera handy. The Moose have just moved into to this area in the past few years. They sure aren't scared of us.
I believe there is no shame in failure. Rather, the shame lies in the loss of all the things that might have been, but for the fear of failure.
