Lynda.com Problem

Post by Raymond Chapman »

At Lynda.com I am receiving the voice of the tuitorials but no picture.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? I'm still searching for a tech contact.

Ray, I suspect it's a problem with the viewer your using on your computer rather than lynda.com.

On the mac I'm using Quick Time 7, using a native viewer on the pc with XP (whatever viewer that is). Both work well.

On the left side of lynda.com's start up screen in red it says Attention Quick Time 7 users. If your using quick time, read that to make sure your running the latest version.

If that doesn't help, look at the top of the main page, the text headings, last line reads 'CONTACT'. Have followed that link? If you do it list's their P.O. Box, email address and a toll free support number.

Thanks Danny. I had contacted them through the "Contact" information and never heard anything.

When I clicked on the Quick Time information that you suggested, they gave me the answer. They are having trouble with Quick Time and the solution is to let the tuitorial fully load and then move the slider back to the beginning....and it works.

Thanks for assist.
