Help with a font ID

Post by Mike Jackson »

Hi all,
I spent way too much time looking for this font on my computer and in some of my disks than I should have. I am almost positive I have a font like it, but I am not seeing it.

I digitized this one letter just to show. It looks like some sort of slab serif athletic block font. Darla is working on a wall in the high school work out room.

If you know the name, please let me know. (I don't need you to send it to me. I either have it or will buy it, unless it is freeware from a site)

Thanks in advance,
Mike Jackson

Mike,

looks like a bold version of Yearbook font. Look at other sites too, as I've seen different variations. Jersery font is another one.

A version of Yearbook is on Fonts.com

Hi Gary,
I downloaded Jersey from the free site. After getting it loaded, Darla made a pattern and hand lettered the black today. Thanks for the Font ID to both of you.

Gary, it's nice to see you still watching the Forum. You have a lot of talent and experience stored away your noggin. I am sure there are a lot of newcomers and seasoned pros that would love to read more of what you have to offer!! Actually, I could say the same thing about a lot of people the read this forum.

Thanks again,
