Hummm......sad isn't it. Was just today looking for something to read while munching a sandwich and stumbled back on an old SB issue from '75 (with that fine Oatis cover) 20 Big Ones and re-read the "bosses" comments on glass restorations he was interested and busy with at the time. It begs the question....what ever happened to the great work he did at Copperpots...what was the final disposition of those masterworks?

But there are no bids on either sign. The seller is in Wilmington. Is it Rick's shop's owners?

C...I'm betting it's his brother selling that off although it could easily be a client/owner as it sure looks like it came from the bosses shop...description and all. A year or so back "Big Bertha" and his antique bevelling machine were for sale. Have no idea what happened in the end. I have to add (personal opinion only) that Rick's family seem to be showing a great deal of respect to the items of sentimental as well as $$ value.
