$$$ sense?

Post by Doug Bernhardt »

After reading the sign pricing guide I always seem to watch the things I charge and spend a little closer for a couple or so months. I know the guy next door (screening t-shirts) knows exactly how much each print costs to do....so today while rinsing out a foam brush for later use I added up exactly how much I earned by doing this little exercise. Now this you won't believe....but the truth is I earned $2884.00 dollars AN HOUR for that time. So save your foam brushes for Bernhardt's New Brush Cleaning Service....I'll even pay my own expenses out to where ever you are! I should add this is one of those "disposable" ones in an acrylic clearcoat I use.

Sparky,

You're right, it doesn't take much to clean those little foam brushes.
But, being I'm so far behind as it is, I'd like to schedule you in for every Friday,
that seems like a good day to have Bernie's New Brush Cleaning Service in the shop
for a few cleanup duties, might have time to take the kayaks out for a splash.
Don't worry, I won't charge you for your time.

Okay Guys....you are on...although Mr. Butler makes way too much money to settle for a measly $3000 an Hour....we might have to come up with a few extra dollars for him. As a junior,I'll settle for the original amount no problem. All kidding aside though...it is amazing where it all goes eh? We might have to reconsider the business name to something like....Mr.Sparky's Magic Brush Cleaning Co. or something equally as cool ;=) You know...at those rates I might even have to buy the beer!
