International Society of Glass Gilders

Post by John Studden »

This is a golden opportunity to be part of a new movement. The "International Society of Glass Gilders" is being formed, with the emphasis on Reverse Glass Gilding Techniques. The inaugural meeting of this new Society will take place in Boise, ID on October 26, 27 & 28th at Classic Design Studio.
The will be facilitated by master Glass Gilders Noel B. Weber (an original Letterhead) and John Studden. Noel & John have over 70 years combined experience in these arts.
Students will learn traditional techniques with the aid of modern technology, create 3 impressive examples and leave with a thorough understanding of this timeless art.

John,
I am confused. "The inaugural meeting.... is October 26, 27 & 28th". Is that a meeting (open to anyone wanting to join the society) or a weekend long, fee based workshop?

I wish I was a bit closer for this new society of workshops, sounds like it's a good thing to get all the gilders together .
and share there techniques. How many spaces are there for the workshops John?.
