Antique Glass Sign hangers

Post by Roderick Treece »

I have a commission to do a large 30" x 96" x 3/8" gold leaf glass sign that will hang on a wall in an office. It has a turn of the century theme so the normal modern standoff hangers I use would not look right.Due to the weight I normally use stud side mount hardware , 4 at the bottom and 3 at the top.
I could make something custom but I thought I would see if anybody knows where you might be able to find them ready made.

I could also take the modern ones and weld some antique piece on the front.

This is what I normally use

Thanks for the help
