Sadly, I just received an email from Tom at SignCraft that our old friend, Al Grand, passed away last weekend. He was a fine gentleman and a great craftsman who enlightened any of the many Letterheads meeting he attended.

I am sure glad I was able to see him at the Detroit meet a few years ago. We had a nice quiet chat, very much like talking to a grandfather, both personally and related to the industry. He was such a nice gentile man. His wisdom lives on in those who knew him and read about him.
