This is a blasted sign I did about a month ago. The "BC" logo is hand carved and gilded and mounted to a 1/2" panel. This is'nt the most exciting peice due to the client not leaving much room for creativity. I did what I could. It is 4' x 8' cedar.

Here are some oil paintings I've done. The first one is 10" x 14". The second one is 30" x 30".

This is the layout for my next oil on canvs to be 24" x 24". This is the first time I've tried scanning in my drawing and vectorizing it so I can decide on colors before hand. I think it worked pretty slick.

Thanks for bearing with me here, I've tried everything to get the pics posted on here and just can't figure it out. I guess I got lucky last time!
Hope this works.

Great colours Jerry, and some nice work. Was the texture in the background of the second one done with a brush. I really like it.
I believe there is no shame in failure. Rather, the shame lies in the loss of all the things that might have been, but for the fear of failure.

Thanks Catharine and Kelly.Yes it is all brush work. I can paint anything and have been commisioned to but this type of abstract work I really enjoy doing. I think I like the idea of creating something that's never been. When a gallery sees this type of stuff they allways ask for more.
