Business Insurance

I am curious about what other people are paying for their Business Insurance and who there are with.I am currently paying about 1700.00 per year with Golden Eagle.

Hi Rod,

wow, must be a lot of people with no insurance.

I've been with the same insurance broker since I started business. I'm currently paying between 14 and 16k a year. Never had to use it, but many jobs require a certificate of insurance to do the job.

Never had to use and it, hope I never do. Just the cost of business, and one thing you can't be without.

Hi Roderick, I just changed carriers yesterday, and I am now paying just over $1000/year.

Just look up your local American Family Insurance agent. I can't say you'll get the rate I got but it might beat what you're paying now.

The type of work I do is pretty much anything I think I can handle as a small one-man commercial shop. More specifically, I do vehicles, storefronts, simple electrical, dimensional and so on. You can get a better idea by going to my website at
