Materials from the Memorial Conclave

Post by ericmalicoat »

A few people at this years Memorial Conclave were interested in were to get stuff I brought. While I'm guessing I'm posting in the wrong place, at least I can get the information out those that were interested. I don't make any money out of this so hopefully it's acceptable.

Most people were interested in the inexpensive sheet shell I found... for $8 to $13 a sheets shipped. The company I bought from is at http://www.shellsheet.com/ which now leads to a ebay store. Having bought about a hundred sheets from them, they seem pretty honest.

A few others were interested in the ground quartz that I found. It has a nice ground gold look to it. It's from ACE hardware of all places. http://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/(a2ugx ... KU=1222231

Last for this post is the powder atomizer the Rick used to sell. I tracked it down to a german site and it was in a user only area for a while. It's now on the public side at http://www.noris-blattgold.de/English/p ... eries.html I'm waiting on an email from them on price, but last year it was near 200 euros, so I'd expect it to be pricey.

I had lots of other random junk in my boxes that I'll track down sorces for if anyone is interested. Rod or John could problably post the source for the deal of gold they found... that gold laid down nice and was a bit over $300 for a pack shipped, taxed, etc.

Hope this is useful and being posted in the wrong place isn't too offencive.

For anyone interested in the powder atomizer, I found a new cheaper option designed for the same function. It lacks the micro vial for tiny quantities, but is a tenth the price and seems to work well for mica.

They still have their ebay store at

http://stores.ebay.com/mugunghwashop/Sh ... 34.c0.m322

It usually takes a few weeks to get the stuff, but the prices are great (just not as great as they used to be)

Eric

PS if you intend to buy green ripple, double check what you are getting as the one marked 'green ripple' has black lines through it and 'clean green ripple' is the nice offwhite that most of us are used to. I made that mistake.
