Nice work Rod.
The ground sign appears to be edge lit. If it is, do you know how it was lit. Maybe LED's?
The upper sign looks very blue. Was it blue glass, or did you tint?color it?
Did you use tempered or laminated glass? The etching looks fairly deep for tempered.
Did they find you via your website, or returning customer?

Pat,
The ground sign was 1/2 regular glass that is deep carved on the front and stage blasted on the back. The hanging sign was 1/2 glass paint filled on the front .The back was blue fuzzed glass then sandblasted away to reveil the sea life. The hardware was stainless steel.

very nice work Rod ! So on the ground piece, the copy is deep carved on front of glass and sea life staged carved on back. How did you cut the top curve on 1/2" glass ? and are both peices safety glass ? Is the hanging piece two panels The front one is "paint filled". Explain that please I've done some work with fuzzed before, great effect. And as Pat asked, is it lighted ?

Vance,
I almost never cut my own glass. I order it cut to whatever shape I want. The hanging piece is one panel.Nether is aluminated. The hanging sign glass has matching holes drilled into the glass that go through into the metal track. for the ground sign the glass just lays down in it and then you pour pour stone in to fill the gap, finish with the rubber trim. It's all available at CRL.
