Dual Pane WIndows

Do you notice any significant loss of effectiveness doing a gold job on an insulated store front window as compared to a single plate glass?

Hi Rick,
Just about every window in our area is a double pane, insulated window. Each piece of glass has that normal "greenish/blue" cast and with a double pane window, you get double the "dullness" if compared to gilding over a crystal clear piece of glass. Still, the gold shows fine through it, and all things considered, there aren't any other options.
