Appling metal to metal………..
My work these days is either made of glass or metal, or a combination of both. On most of my dimensional work I use .125 sheet aluminum for bkgd panels (durability, strength, and lightweight), and apply my finishes (smalts, magic sculpt, sophisticated finishes, whatever, to that substrate. I have an upcoming dimensional project that will have a 1’ x 16’ sheet copper panel applied to bkgd , but have a concern with bonding unlike metals . So my question is: what would you use to glue the sheet copper to the aluminum panel ?
Thank for any replies..............

3M VHB tape. Call a adhesive supplier or 3M direct as VHB comes in a various forms. For a start, try R S Hughes company in Oakland, CA, a 3M supplier.
In the VHB line is a tape that's made specifically for the auto body business, that adheres aluminum panels to steel frames.
If you're after other materials than tape, ask about 3M epoxy, or call Lord Adhesives. Both offer products for dissimilar metals.
Considering the trucks are under constant movement and temperature changes, I'd think it would afford you the best solution.

Vance, I have been using a sheet adhesive called mac tac. It is fiendishly strong and easy to use. I use it to adhere letters to metal and other uses so far with good results. One thing I like is that it is thin and does not have the thickness of VHB tape. call me and I will discuss.

I have one other idea that I personally would not have a problem
with. Lord adhesive and VHB tape could surely do the trick but
I would think about 3M - 30NF water based contact adhesive.
Orbital sand both pieces and rub down with alcohol. Make sure
you go on straight as 16' is a long way. Try a test piece first
of course. I don't think heat would be a factor as the adhesive
would be very dry when you mount up. I have mounted a number
of 4x8 alum. sheets to 3/4 acx ply using 3M's contact adhesive
and they have held without any failures. Run your laminate roller
over the surface after mount.
