I was wondering if anyone has tried using smalts on alumalite?
Thanks!

Re: Smalts
Yes. No different than any sheet goods, particularly sheet metals. It is the adhesive that counts.

Re: Smalts
No, but I don't see why you can't.
What is the thickness? If there was any flex, I'd add a backer to prevent flex.
Abrade the surface and paint the background the color of the smalts you'll use, or using expoxy as the binder add oil based paint the same color as the smalts into your epoxy, spread over the background, apply smalts, remove excess when epoxy is cured, and your good to go.

Re: Smalts
I like to use Holdfast Smalt Glue when applying smalts.
Add about 1/3 volume of OneShot that's the same color as the smalt.
