Post by Tony Segale »

client posed a challenge...
paint the mural, you

make the horse stall look like a wine cellar,
and disregard the large square doors

Did you use the Ben Moore Aura paints Tony?
Were those ribs in the wood panels frustrating?
Great job, again!

Mark, Ben Moore Aura was not used in this mural.

Three coats of Benjamin Moore Fresh Start water based primer, tinting each coat darker for a base.
BenMoore exterior latex to block in large color areas, then used artists acrylics, Utretch and Golden brands for the entire mural...
Except....
the door, the process for creating the wood grain in the door was
first coating a golden butter color of Ben Moore on the entire door
and then glazed over in the brown and pulled with a wood graining tool
and he took that golden hair and made a sweater for baby bear.
