Purple bronze powder

Post by Robert Schwieger »

I vaguely recall that a purple bronze powder was available in the '60s. Is this true, and if so, is it available for glass work today?
Perhaps I am just dreaming.
Thanks. Bob

I think you answered your own question.
The bronze powder has always been available, but there was something"blowin' in the wind" in the 60's that gave it that "purple haze".

Bob,
Wrights of Lymm have carried bronze powder for a long time and they have a wide variety.
I have been very pleased with anything I have purchased from them.

Crescent still has purple (grape) listed in their colors.

Kent,

Is this Crescent Cardboard Company or is there another Crescent I should know about?

Thanks. Bob
