Since a while I have some mirroring questions and can not seem to find the answers of them.
Because I have never seen them in true life I was wandering what exactly the differences are between a:
1. Light antique finished mirror.
2. Medium antique finished mirror.
3. Heavy antique finished mirror.
4. Bronze wash finished mirror.
5. Lime wash finished mirror.
6. Gunmetal finished mirror.
And how these differences are made.

Re: Mirroring questions
Hi Eric,
I don't think that there are exact answers to your questions. There are all sorts of ways to create antique mirrors. We have suggestions and supplies on our website and Rod Treece has some lovely samples on his site at http://www.customglasssigns.com/ . A gunmetal mirror is probably a lead sulfide or galena mirror. When you are antiquing a silver mirror, no two come out the same and no two mirror makers use the same terms to describe their effects.
