Last night's season premier of "Boardwalk Empire", HBO's gritty new Atlantic City gangster series, was rife with gratutious sex and violence ( I studiously averted my eyes), but my interest was definitely piqued by the parade of fantastic signs.
Pretty great period work. LHS fonts were much in evidence: I saw Messr's. Studden and Kennedy well represented, across windows and walls. Can't wait 'til next week.
To anybody with cable it is worth checking out! Plus these are usually available later on DVD.
