John and Rodericks big adventure
At the moment I am setting in a starbucks to let you all know that John Studden and I have been in Mexico Painting a giant 23k and Paladium logo on the stern of a an even more giant private ship all week. As so as I can I will post the photos. We were told it's the largest private ship to paint refitted in mexico to date.
Many thanks to Bob Gamach for turning us on to the project.Your lucky you didn't come down here by yourself. It's alot more work that you thought.

Re: John and Rodericks big adventure
One fella told me the other day, Studden and Treece had
a big silver job up in Nevada....
Another swears Studden and Treece worked on a ship
down in Mexico gilded in gold.
I don't suppose it matters one way or the other where
they make all their money.
Must be something can be done.......

Re: John and Rodericks big adventure
We're back from our big adventure .It was quite a wild ride. Think of it like the movie "The Andromeda Strain" meets a letterhead meet. Unfortunately with the ship being all wrapped up I wasn't able to get any really great photos.
Just for scale I took a photo of the other ship .That one was 200 ft ours was 225ft.

Very very VERY cool!
Nice to see you guys work on such a piece.
May I ask what kind of size you used and what coating will be sprayed over the decoration/boat.

Awl Grip. If memory serves isn't that for electric sign faces.
I'm guessing you went with a glossy.
BTW very nice work.
