Hi there.
I have been subscribing pinstriping & kustom graphix for some years now and signcraft magazine, but theres not much of what i'm into. Do you guys know a magazine that contains more handlettering and glass signs and stuff like that?

Re: magazines
As far as I can tell, SignCraft is still the best one for the small shops and hand lettering sign artists. Some of the others have gone heavily into the large format printing and LED lighting.
I can advise two additional options:
Check out the possibility of buying the oldest back issues of SignCraft they still have. Buy one of all of them! By necessity, the magazine has had to adapt their editorial space towards the processes people are using the most to make signs in a commercial shop.
Second, see if Jeff Lang still has any of the AMAL (A Magazine About Letterheads) around. Buy one each of all of them, too! You might be able to send him a private email or message, but if he does want to sell them through this site, I think he should!

Re: magazines
Jeff,
I'd like to extend a personal & administrator invitation to you to blatantly advertise your back issues on this site. I think they are a great resource and it is a shame to see them sitting in a box or a warehouse when they could make their way to the hands of people thirsty for the information.
If you think you need to pay for the advertising, just donate a portion back to the Colorado Letterheads. They pay for this site. But, that is not necessary as far as I am concerned.
Best regards,
Mike Jackson

Re: magazines
I, also, have several back issues of SignCraft, if anyone is interested.
I've been thinking of getting serious about cleaning my shop out and eliminating items I no longer use.
If your interested, just send me an inquiry on my site, www.tonysegale.com
Perhaps the commercial sign magazines would be ready to make a transition back to the roots of hand lettering
by searching for those shops who still produce everything by hand. Could it possibly improve their sales?
