Welcome, Sean.

You obviously have a passion for handlettering. I love seeing that.

You have a huge amount of photos there on flickr! It's interesting seeing the sketches and different artwork besides the sign work, but you obviously have a bias toward hand painted signs. Is the flickr site what you use primarily for your portfolio & getting new clients? If you're using it for that, you might consider paring it down to your best work. That's a painful process but it will increase customer confidence and it will also be easier for them to sort through it and get an idea of what you do. (Just a suggestion since you invited feedback.)

We all come to the sign business through different avenues. I have a friend who was a street grafitti artist and is now pursuing a career in signmaking and mural painting. I help him out where I can and have employed him on a couple of projects. Some of your work reminds me of that vein, but then it looks like you've energetically found a lot of interesting clients. I especially enjoyed seeing the "Crave Fishbar" and the sidewalk menu boards for Morgan's Pier.

You've come to the right place with a lot of talented people here. Sometimes there is more activity than others but there is always plenty of inspiration as you dig through the archives and pick up different tips. Focus on looking at tight designs, good letterform and understanding why they work.

Keep up the good work - learning and improving your skills. At two years you've come a long way.
