A little road side stand

Post by Tyler Tim »

I finished this up the other day. Double sided MOD hand lettered. The green was cut in and the colors laid in. The panels (coro and vinyl) are attached with Velcro... as it's run by a nice fella that is wheelchair bound and has limited use of his arms and hands. When I first seen Billy... he was fighting with old flex letters on a nasty looking A frame that was not inviting at all. We talked and when I came back I set this between two poles at a height that allow him to wheel up to and work the panels. A faint box outline aid in alignment. After it was installed and Billy hung the panels he wanted... he had a big smile on his face and claimed that was the slickest idea and could I drag the old A frame out back. No gold leaf... just a bread and butter job that ended with another happy customer

Sure I paint thing for my amusement and then offer them for sale. A brushslinger could whither en die from lack of creativity in this plastic town my horse threw a shoe in.

It is always nice to see a pro take a panel with too much copy (by neccessity) and make it work. Getting the client where he's in a better position than would otherwise be with a lesser layout man. KUDOS to a sign-man in Realville.

Things seemed to be a little slow so I'll add a little follow up. Here it is after it had been installed for a while. Billy said it was a big help in getting folks to stop.
Think I need a better camera...
