I found a bunch of old step by step photos from an old SC article. When I searched around on their site, I see it is now available as a PDF document. I just added the link on the Glue-Chipped Glass pages.
The screen grab above is just to give you an idea of what the article looks like. The PDF document will have much higher resolution, and can be printed to your color printer.
This is the asphaltum method, using small squirt bottles.
