airbrushing slow size...

Post by vance galliher »

is there a certain ratio of slow size to thinner that any of you gilders have found for airbrushing ?
I'm using dux slow set size. my first test was at full strength out of the can...and it worked great !
a beautiful gild after12 hrs. on my next attempt (no changes to size or airbrush setting) size wouldn't
spray..too thick (?) so I started thinning ...I:1/4 seems to work , with a few hrs lesser tack time.

any one else had spraying size experience ?
