Terry WhynotI'm always interested in really outstanding web sites. My favorite to date is John Steven's site calligraphycentre.com. I'd sure like to see a website for Carl Rohrs or Gary Anderson. David Butler's site is cool and getting better. The American Sign Museum's site is awesome (I was reading Mike Jackson's article on the 25 best old sign books last night-very cool-Mike knows about books) So do you have some favorite websites that are "eye candy"? By the way I read this board very regularly and I think it is the best forum on the internet. Bar none.

Mike JacksonJon,
One that jumped to the top of my list is Nancy Beaudette & Noella Cotnam's Sign-It site.

Another is Shane Durnfords site at:

Both in my opinion are two of the finest examples.

Hi Jon,
I seem to spend a lot of time on the site and not getting other stuff done! I wouldn't mind making a "Cool Sign Links" page someday, but haven't really had time or energy. I would visualize trying to assemble links to sites featuring cigar labels, ghost signs, walls, gilding, calligraphy, old safes, chipping, carving, etc, etc, etc. That page could go on forever, of course. The sites I have in mind would be in the "artsy" field, but I am open to suggestions direction.
If some of you want to start assembling the links and the names of this type sites, I could probably build the page without too much time invested here. As many diverse interests as we have represented by the readers of this site, I suspect the list could cover a lot of ground.
I included a link below which takes you to a site with a bunch of commercial links. I don't know the person who hosts it, but I ran across it one night and thought it had some info others might want to see someday.
Thanks for the compliment on the site. I think it is getting better all the time!
