I spent a few hours looking through Wenzel's "Modern Decorative Art" and fell in love with this image. There are only a few colors in this painting, but it comes off so well.
There's a black and white image in the Henderson book by John Ohnimus which shows a similar simplicity.

Mike Jackson - Wenzel plate: B & D initials
This shows two letters out of eight on one page of the Wenzel folios. There are at least two pages like this and maybe three. There is a very nice Noveau alphabet mixed in between the wonderful pen and ink designs. The designs were printed with dark brown ink with metallic gold lettering.
