Robare M. NovouRick Glawson sold a silvering mix that produced mirrors when poured onto glass, any ideas where i can lay my hands on it now?

Pat MackleI have used peacock for getting the silvering supplies I needed. They have a nice catalog. The price per unit of measure was half the cost of esotric....I reckon that by going to the source of supplies you will avoid the middle man and pay less, at peacock and other suppliers on the current list. Its just that you won't get rick's enthusiaum, assistance, and experience.

Be sure to get MSDS sheets and learn about
the explosive nature of silver nitrate solutions. I have been told that fulminated silver was used as a primer in artillery shells. Dried crystals can "pop" by the friction of unscrewing the cap. I have heard old mirror men tell accounts of dry silver going off, however, the process is safe when done correctly.

Hi Pat,
When Rick first started doing silvering, he used Del Amo Chemicals (they are located only a few miles from his place). I had originally written them down in my Conclave notes as his source, but in a later Conclave, he told me he had switched to the silvering supplies at Peacock Labs. He said they were "cleaner" and had less of a tendency of turning brown.
I don't know this for a 100% fact, but at least two people have told me Peacock Labs are beta testing the angel gild kits. Since Esoteric2 will no longer be selling them, they will probably be our source for the product in the future.
I thought I had already added Peacock Labs to the list, but I apparently spaced that off. Here is the link.
Best regards,

Danny Baronian recently received a catalog suppliment sheet from Esoteric2 that stated silvering and angel gild kits would no longer be available there.
Besides the two sources mentioned earlier, try looking over the long list of supplies on the page linked below. Then look for Peacock Labs. That was the source Rick Glawson used for his silvering kits.
Good luck,
