Liquid Frisket Spray Mask Update

I wanted everyone to know how the liquid frisket mask worked.
It brushes on the bare glass very good and beads up on any painted surface which wasn't a problem. .The only down side I can see is that when it beads up it also pulls away from the lettering just a little leaving very small bare spots on the clear glass. .It dries very fast so be quick about any thing your doing.
I sprayed my translucent color into the clear letter centers using 1 shot enamel ,frog juice and naptha It dried very fast so I started peeling everything within 10 minutes. It comes off easy but don't rub on the letters to hard as it will take the letters off!Get as close as possible and then wipe off anything left with thinner.Make sure the work below is completly dry before you do any work on top.I got the piece cleaned off and it didn't take that long to wipe off any excess paint. Then I came back and painted in any background that I'd had to wipe away.
Thanks again Danny for remminding me of what I already knew.
Please let me kknow how to e-maill the photo.

Hi Rod,
You might try spraying the surface with Bullseye tm Shellac first, this should let the frisket do the job.

Glad to see you made it home safe from the Antique Advertising show.

Talk to you soon
