Any body interested in going in on a 1.lbsbag of paua brocade? I need it for a project and I haven't found it anywhere else in smaller quantaties yet.I am sure Rick had more but they're not open yet.
The price is 90.00 for 1.lbs and I only need maybe 1/4.
Thank Roderick

The strange thing about Rick being gone is that you 1)find out how much work it is to track down materials and 2)you realize that he supplied us with all the tibs to fire your imagination.
So at this point I've found 1oz.@ esoteric for 18.00(a mire tib to get you excided) all the way to 2.2lbs @ 45.00.We will see where this all ends up soon enough.
Anybody need any abalone flakes?

Roderick,
I'd probably take a baby food sized jar of it. I am not sure how much an ounce fills, but I can judge the baby food jar's volume. Sounds like you are just dropping it into some wet size or varnish, so it should go a long way. I have a bunch of bags of mica powder, along with lots of bronzing powders.

Let me know how much I owe you,
Mike Jackson

You might contact Ron Percell on this one. He is apparently starting letterheadsupplies.com and may be able to split it up into smaller, more affordable amounts.

He posts here off and on. You can get his email address off one of his old posts....sroll down a page or two.

You can sometimes get Paul at Esoteric in the evenings. He is still finishing out his old job before retiring and taking over Esoteric full time. He might have a smaller quantity available without having to split up the pound. 310-549-6622

Rick influenced many aspects of my life & signage.

I have a business that's located in Petaluma Ca, many of storefronts are circa 1850-1890. Were busy with restoration and period pieces in the historical districts. We do sell glass gilded signs.

The loss of Rick forced us into becoming distributors of many of the products due to the
current jobs and the direction our sign shop had taken years ago.

In order to get the best pricing on some items, it was necessary to purchase practically a lifetime supply. Now that were distributors, we will be offering these products.

We've been suppliers of materials and pre-made signage since the winter of `97, but haven't really promoted to sign industry.

Letterhead Sign Supply will also be donating portions of the profits to the sign museum in Memory of Rick Glawson this year. Future recipients will be decided upon by a body of letterheads across the country.

We like to help preserve the memory of those who came before us, and keep the materials available.

We've many things to bring together, and are looking forward to the task, along with havent some vary interesting content.
