Danny Busselle passed along the name of a quite unique paint supply store in Hollywood, CA. It sounds a lot like Esoteric Sign supplies. They carry a huge selection of hard to find paints and items for use in the movie trade, including sign supplies. Check out their Products page and you will get an idea what I am talking about here.

Here's a few notes from their front page:
"Mark's Paint is a specialty paint store catering to the Motion picture industry, Television, Scenic & Set companies, Faux Finishers, as well as the general public. Carrying full paint lines from of Benjamin Moore, Ellis, Break-Through, and our own Mark's label, Mark's can completely fulfill the needs of contractors and homeowners alike.

If Specialty items are your need, Mark's is the place to shop! A full line of studio colors are available in flat and semi gloss as well as Pro-line tints, UTC, and Ronan Japan color tints. We also carry a full line of One Shot Poster & Lettering Enamels for your sign-writing needs. Video Ultimatte and Chroma-Key colors are also available as well as metallic colors in powder and liquid form. We carry a huge selection of faux finishing supplies and equipment.

Mark's Paint is also a major distributor of Benjamin Moore, Cal Western, Modern Masters, Break-Through, Binks, 3M, Lilly/Guardsman Lacquers, Crescent Bronze, Bortz Solvents, Purdy Brushes, and much much more!!!!

Our knowledgeable and friendly staff has been serving the L.A, San Fernando Valley, and around the world since 1978, so if paint and service is what you need, Mark's Paint Store is the place to be!"

Maybe it is worth a bookmark!
