Fine Gold Backup Screen Enamel

I was wondering what might be substituted for Fine Gold's backup. Can I use regular black screen enamel. It seems to have a glossier(oilier) finish that might cause problems with the flow of water size.

If you need the stuff right away, order some from Canadian SignCrafters. I understand they still have it, and maybe even some Dekor.

I have a sample coming from another place. If it works (and I think it will) the back up paint will no longer be an issue. I'll let you know.
