Re: Yet another newbie
Good day!
Thanks for the nice feedback.
Size 800 х 420 mm. This is the upper part of a large mirror. The remaining panels are not yet ready.
Here are some sketches.
Total size 1800 х 1200 mm.
To my regret, there is no one to buy, this work is done as a sample.

Vladimir, The English word for what you do is "exquisite". I am trying to learn to be able to do what you do. Keep up the good work.

Oh my Vladimir... I've never seen anything like this. Simply beautiful work. Incredible.

Vladimir,
Very nice... I really like how the boarder flows into the thin frame giving it more weight. Looks like this could be a companion piece to the drawings you posted earlier.
Art is a common Language and I enjoy seeing your work... thanks for sharing.

Sure I paint thing for my amusement and then offer them for sale. A brushslinger could whither en die from lack of creativity in this plastic town my horse threw a shoe in.

Re: Yet another newbie
Somehow, I missed this thread last year.
I've just been scrolling through it with my jaw on the desk, nodding in agreement with all the comments, and feeling slightly sheepish that I haven't tackled my designs with the same dedication and attention to detail that I see in yours. Very highly polished and well executed designs.
I also love this type of rococo aesthetic, but it's so time-consuming it is not easy to find clients willing to make it financially worthwhile. It takes a lot of effort and a long time to build the kind of reputation and client base that will support this type of artistic drug-habit. But it can be done!
Many of the members here have come from a signwriting background. Your work is more closely related to the "non lettering related" gilded glass work that was historically done by engraving the gold leaf. Francis Federer and Miriam Ellner both use this technique extensively and are doing some amazing work. It reminds me that while there are different forms of the art of verre églomisé, it is very distinctive and recognizably "ours". We are all in the same tribe.

Здравствуйте, Владимир.
Ничего что по русски?))) Хотелось бы немного пообщаться с Вами по технологии, если есть какой более удобный контакт, был бы благодарен. Что бы не смущать форумчан иноземным для них языком))).

Good day!
I haven't been on the forum for a long time. At this time, I almost did not do eglomise.
But in 2019 I made one small mirror to order, to my surprise I received two more orders on a similar theme.

Hello! Another work of mine and two trial versions to it, one of which, unfortunately, was spoiled.
