I am in the process of gilding some 3d objects.
And was wandering what the best lighting plans are.
Does anybody have some experience in this subject or has experimented with it?
This question is specially for hanging the 3D objects inside a house/office at eye level, but an exterior theory would be greatly appreciated too.
1. One or more lightsources?
2. If hanging on eye-level; light from beneath or from above or on the opposite site of the room?
3. Halogeen or old fashioned lightbulbs?
4. White, red or yellow light?
Erik

Re: Enlighting 3D Gilded objects.
In the shop I use 'multi spectrum' flourescent (white light) bulbs. They emulate what real sunlight wave lengths would be. There is also a bit of
science that says those inexpensive flourescent bulbs that kinda
go yellow and dim on you really are not so good for the brain.
