Live by the brush, I'll die by the brush....
Just finshed this 4' x 16' sign with a couple extra cut outs, designed new logo, also.
Figure I post it up here.
Left handed California Lettering Artist, always stalwart.

Nice Jenco.
And stalwart, Mr. Jenco— “Left handed California Lettering Artist, always stalwart.”?—is not spelt s-t-a-l-l-w-o-r-t-h.

That is a very nice design. I am particularly drawn to the script (especially the caps). You've gone right up to the line but did not cross it.
A lil script goes along way, I my book.
Thank you for posting it.

Re: hand lettering
thanks, Blake, Bob, Dave, Bob.....
Bob S..... I did cross the line with the caps, in the shadows on the north wall this time of year, it's hard to make out the two different tones of brown.
The dark brown of the caps does run together with the dark brown of the three horizontal 'ledger' lines....
Here is the original sketch the client approved, always allowing me to make improved adjustments as I layout or paint.
I scanned the sketch and digitized for plotter patterns and selling of logo/letterhead.
You might notice, the logo on the left was reduced to improve the visual impact of the letters for the sign.

Re: hand lettering
Nice job Tony. I wish I had saved all my sketches, they allways got better so I threw them all away periodically.
I allways like your paintings too, especially the harmonica one.
