My client bought an old road house from the prohibition . Beergola was what it's always been called.

That green is the dirtyist muted green you can imagine until you get it on the back side of the glass.

Just starting these two panels today.
Yes I do the antiquing right after the mirroring. I mirror differently for antiquing as well. Here's today's progress. I just happen to be able to get the masks today so I got started on the acid etching. Next will be the sandblasting for chipping.

The mirrors are for two Ralph Lauren stores in New York City. Bob's working on all the onsite work. Show us some photos Bob !

Hey guys, I didnt get any real nice shots yet but heres a couple. Thanks for everything Rod! I had to distress the leaf . Its all glass gilded in reverse on location. This job took 3 or 4 days to complete the gilding. Everything here was lettered up using pounces. No paint mask. They wanted a traditional hand lettered distressed feel. I rusted, painted and lettered up the metal signs with ny designer Dikayl Rimmasch. Cool Dude. Cool work!

Looks like it came out really cool Bob. Glad you were able to get all the on site work . I think the mirrors are going to look great with those signs.

Thank you Dave! Really appreciate your compliments! It means a lot. Rods mirrors are really on the mark! It was a real pleasure working on this project. I start the windows at the west broadway soho location in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Dave ! Hey Bob, I just got a call from Dykale ( The client) saying they loved the project and everything looked great. He said it was a "great team to work with". He's going to take more photos soon.
