Hello- to all you signwriters across the big pond, I've been painting signs
since 1952,straight after 3 years at art school,(I think I'm getting the hang of it now).
All my work is hand painted, don't touch vinyl (can't stand the stuff)
I do mainly vehicles, pub signs and gold leaf windows, I'll write on
anything(don't stand still near me).Have just done a bar in spain with a Marilyn Monroe theme.
Keep up the good work and encourage everyone who wants to be a
part of this wonderful craft of lettering.
regards from an english oldtimer.

Hi John,
Welcome aboard. Sounds like you have a TON of hand lettering experience. We can use all the help we can get! Feel free to answer questions if you have some information to offer.

Also, feel free to post an "endless" series of tips and tricks from your 50+ years of experience. There are readers here with quite a few years in the trade, but there are also quite a few "newbies" who are hoping for tidbits and tips.

If you look back over some of the old posts, you will see that a single tip will generate several responses which enhance or support the first tip.

Carry on!
