Glass blasting resources

Post by Kelly Thorson »

Can any one direct me to good resources on stage blasting glass, or sand carving or other artistic techniques on glass?
Thanks in advance.
I believe there is no shame in failure. Rather, the shame lies in the loss of all the things that might have been, but for the fear of failure.

Kelly, anything written by Norm and Ruth Dobbins. One book in particular "Etched Glass, Techniques & Designs" is excellent. Their website is www.etchmaster.com

Basics:
http://www.etchmaster.com/information_s ... ipment.htm

Type in Glass Blasting and also Glass Etching in Google and you should find a lot of online information. Also, visit a stained glass supply house and you will likely find quite a few books and reference sheets related to glass etching.

Here is a results page for Glass Etching Techniques
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=n ... techniques

Good luck,
