Titel: Amalierte Stuck uff Glas/Hinder Glas gemalte Historien und Gemäld

As you can see it is writen in German, but just the photo's are mind blowing and a must have for every Reverse gilding/painting book collector!
It contains lots of treasures from ancient times until aprox. 1800.
Every page has about 4 high quality photo's!!!!

Maybe I will not attend my sister in law her birthday tonight, but will read and look until the early morning.
Erik the crazy Darth collector is happy :D

I always like classic historical works like that. Maybe you could share some other good examples from inside?

Kent,
I was not able to make some scans this week, but to give you at least some inside view of the book.
I took some pictures with the webcam, sorry for the quality.

Hello Kent,
Still not made the scans and to be honoust I am allways a bit aprehensive to scan my books, because I do not want to damage or simply strech the bindings.
But I hope this link in English will feed your hunger for the ancient art of Verre Eglomise.
Click about the different samples, enlargements and text.
It is from the collection of our National Museum/Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
Hope you like it. And if anybody is interested in doing one.... let me know :D
