Kickin' the Old School!...
I tried to go new school on this, but for etching this world map on glass, all the available vector files out there had a single line between the countries. I need a double line, so I can have that line remain clear after sandblasting. Editting the file didn't seem like the right thing to do. I also tried to crunch a jpeg file into a vector file via Vector Magic, but when VM scaled down the jpeg and crunched it, it didn't have the detail I needed when enlarged to this 71" x 60" panel. So instead, got out the old xacto knife and hand cut it.
Nearly lost my will to live....
This will be sandblasted with my standard texture, then I'll peel out the oceans and sandblast them with my extra-fine texture. Only way to handle it!

That is a bit of artistic creativity, it is.
A fella like you, if you save your breath, will etch another blasted masterpiece.
I'd give five dollars for a view of the finished piece.
Glad to see you can still hold the xacto with all those broken knuckles.
Aho.

Well, here it is after the oceans were sandblasted and with the mask all peeled off.
It was a bit of work.....not to be replicated....

Massive!
Larry,
If you still want it, send me the original file and I can fix it to the double-line vector you wanted.
